Video gets squished when exported to Youtube!

When I export the video I don't know why this is happening, the image gets squished rather than using the entire screen.

On this image the video does not extend to use the entire video player.  Yet the video on Magix uses the entire screen.

I want it to look like this, and use the entire screen.

Pleaes HELP ME!

Hi.

This MAY be something YT is doing to your video, if it is "misreading" the format information.

You are clearly working in 16:9; YT is seeing it as 4:3.  If you right click on your video at YT and select to view the embed code, which I did (by pasting it to a text document) there is a difference in two parts of it which should, from my experience with YT, be the same.

Near the beginning of the code it says "height: 390px; width: 640px" but at the end you will see width="640" height="360".  These two sets of dimensions ought to be the same!

I think the first set (390 x 640) are correct but the second (340 x 640) are not.  If you are embedding the video in a web site you can edit that second set to be  390 x 640.  If the video is only accessible via the YT site you will need to access your account and find the place where you can edit that second set of figures.

HTH.

Jeff
