One video clip I'm inserting into my movie turns green and distressed. It looks fine when I play it outside of the program. Any ideas? The rest of the video clips are fine.
Is the 'green' video clip the same format and from the same source as the other video clips?
Use MediaInfo to analyse the clip that is causing the problem, drag the clip onto MediaInfo, then select the Tree view and then File, Export and export as a text file.
Copy the contents of the text file and post the results.
We also need your computer specification and Windows version - if 10 have you applied the Anniversary update?

Yes, the format is the same as the rest, I'm using Windows 10 but did not apply the Anniversary update. Where can I find it?

. . . . I'm using Windows 10 but did not apply the Anniversary update. Where can I find it? . . . .
You do not need to it will automatically download if you have not changed any of your Windows update settings.
Has the video clip been converted or edited using VLC - in particular version 2.2 which has a bug in it giving the odd vertical resolution of 1090 pixels when it should be 1080 pixels?
If so do you have the original clip andhave you tried importing this into Movie Edit Pro?

Ironically yes, I did convert it using VLC because the original clips were .mov files and Magix said that the file format could not be read. Also the other video clips in my movie were also converted with no issues.

I managed to solve the green issue, however now I have a new one. When exporting my finished movie (regardless which format I'm exporting to) the last 25 seconds of my movie is cut off. It just so happens to be where the aforementioned clip is. I'm sure it's related.
Also, I installed the software onto a new laptop that had Windows 10, I did not upgrade to Windows 10 from my previous version. How do I get Magix to be compatible? It's almost unusable.
