Hi,
I recently performed the update to Movie Edit Pro Premium Version 20.0.1.65 (UDP3).
Now, in timeline mode, I get areas of video that are black and if I move the red play bar along, the audio and video are unsynced.
I've also noticed that if I add an image to be visible over the video track, the video will repeat afterwards.
I'm finding this version of the application quite frustrating! I've found it brilliant for years prior to this.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply.
I use my Sony bridge camera DSC-HX400V and also my phone (using handbrake to make a constant frame rate). I don't use clips from both devices in the same video, as they both use different frame rates.

OK. Did you look at the specs page for the new version of MEP?
You may have to go to File / Settings / Program / Import/Export and untick the following boxes.
See if that works.

Hi Ray,
Unfortunately my processor is a bit lower than the current minimum spec for MEP. I've done as you suggested, which resolved the problem. Unfortunately, MEP now runs so slowly that it's quite unusable!
I've emailed Magix to see if I can get a copy of the previou version, which does everything I need anyway.

Yes it's a disappointment but programs on the whole don't really give performance boosts on their own. They just enable newer technology to work more efficiently and sometimes at the expense of making older hardware less usable. This seems to be the case with the new Infusion Engine 2. It would have been nice to see more rigorous system specs posted on their spec page.
