version 2022 to be uninstalled

Dear Sirs, I have just purchased and installed un upgrade to Movie Studio Suit 2022 to 2023. After the upgrade I still have 2022 version left on the PC - do I have to uninstall it or not?

That should not have happened, the 2022 version should have been replaced with the 2023.

If you have the disc space and both versions are working as intended then I would leave both installed for now.
