Vegas Pro does not recognize certain plugins

Hello all,

I am using an old version of Sony Vegas Pro. I think it's 15. Most of the audio plugins are accepted by the product. However, when I try loading the "classic" plugins such as classic delay, classic compression, classic EQ, etc, they are not recognized or loaded by the program. I am running an Asus laptop on Windows 11, 64 bit. I have tried everything that I know with no success. I had an older version of Vegas on an older Windows 7 laptop where those plugins were accepted properly by the program.

Any recommendations on why the new machine or program won't load those specific VSTs?

Thanks.

@Gene1000

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products, with the exception of Magix Movie Studio 18 and later versions, have their own forum - click the link at the bottom of this page.

I would suggest you post your question there
