Hi,
I recently purchased the upgrade version of Vegas Pro 20. Upon opening the download manager and selecting the install for all the products that come with it, the the download starts for 10 seconds and automatically stops with no warning.
For PC Specs:
- Op System: Win 10 Pro 64-bit
- CPU: Intel i7 10700 2.90 GHz
- RAM: 32 GB Dual-Channel DDR4 3600MHz
- MB: ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-I Gaming (LGA1200)
- GPU: ZOTAC Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
-
Storage: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 2TB
- (348 GB free at the time of typing this)
For context: I was previously using Vegas Pro 19 and wanted to buy the upgrade version of Vegas Pro 20. As a possible solution; I uninstalled V Pro 19 as I thought it may have conflicted with the installer. However, when I decided to reinstall V Pro 19 as it occurred to me that it was an "upgrade," I was having the same problem as before: Download stopping automatically after 10 seconds.
Solutions I have tried from a previous post on the same problem for Vegas Pro 15:
- Disabled Anti-Virus and turned off Controlled Folder Protection
- Closed all unnecessary programs and restarted my PC
- Updated graphics drivers and updated windows
- Ticked all boxes in the Advanced Tab of Internet Options, under the security options for TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2
- I ran the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" in Computer Management under the Services tab in the Services and Applications Section
- I have downloaded and ran the installer from the Magix Website instead of the one provided for me in the email of my invoice
None of these have worked and at this point, I don't know what else to do as there are no other solutions that mimic this problem.
I'm hoping that there is another step I can take or Magix has a solution for this type of problem since Vegas Pro 15.
I appreciate any kind of help.
Thanks.
EDIT: I don't know how or why but it started downloading normally and all products were installed.
