Vegas Pro 19 rendering - Crash, crash, crash

I started editing on Pro 19 after it was released as a free upgrade to the Pro 18 software I bought (after using Sony Vegas 13 prior). The video I'm working on is a 5+ minute song video using several video files (.mp4) and some .jpg files. After lots of editing, I rendered a video, and it worked fine. Then, I made some more normal edits and tried to render the video, only to experience multiple crashes (at between 7-15% render).  I’ve tried several alternative changes in settings in Preferences>Video: Dynamic RAM Preview down to ‘0’, GPU acceleration off, then back to my NVIDIA card (GeForce GTX 1060 6GB), Thumbnails to show in video events: ‘head, center, tail’ to ‘none’, Internal settings: multi-core rendering disabled/enabled.  Nothing is working. It will not render this file. My edits were nothing weird, mostly clean-up and 'picture in picture' and cropping edits.  My processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6800K CPU @ 3.40GHz.  Of course, I can’t find anything on Vegas 19 because it’s so new.  I tried to open this project back up in Vegas 18 to see if it would render, but it wouldn't work. VERY frustrating.
