Vegas Pro 18 device registration issues

Been using vegas pro 18 on and off for the past year and half or so, just today I went to load up the software again and was prompted with the device management screen requesting that I deactivate one of my old devices in order to start using it on my current device. I have no issue doing this, however my two devices stated as old are my current device, and I am looking for any information as to how I can prevent this from happening in the future as I would like to not be locked out of using the software for a month if I can't help it.

Nothing has changed regarding my PC's specifications or name if that helps at all.

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products, with the exception of Magix Movie Studio 18 and later versions, have their own forum - click the link at the bottom of this page.

There should also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.

I would suggest you post your question there
