Hi

Welcome to the forum.

Try right clicking the video on the timeline and select Create frame table (new) and see if this fixes it.

More information about the video clips would be useful eg source, format etc also the project settings may also help.

Reading this post will also help you to help us to help you.  http://www.magix.info/uk/please-do-the-following-before-posting-your-question.forum.621831.html

Hi John

thank you for the answer. I tryed to create new frame as you told me, it didn't help. The file was converted from .flv to .wmv in 'Any Video Converter" with WMV V9, 640x480 pix, 30 frlames/s, 44100kHz,  1hr10min long, it plays well in Nero player and gets offset in Movie Edit  Pro 16+ (and in Movie Edit Pro 14+ as well).  And when I add audio track and reconvert it again, it plays with offset in any player.

The same file converted from .flv into .mp4 plays just fine.

BTW, thanks for sending me to the rules board, I've read it,  but I don't have much to say besides of what I already mentioned.  The .wmv file gets dissynchronized at the end of plaing.

I could upload it somewhere for checking, if you'd like to see it.

Thank you, have a nice day!

Hi

If converting to mp4 works then I would do that and use it in MEP.

It is great that you have read the forum rules - it makes it much easier for us users to help each other when as much relevant information as possible is provided in the first instance.

It is also good that you have reorted back a workaround as this may help others wth the same problem

Thankyou and cheers for now - no doubt you will be back and helping others too .

Hi John

thanks for being in the good mood, after spending bunch of time on playng with different formats it's like a refreshment for me :)

Your advice is good, the only flaw in it that the .mp4 file gets biger at least twice as much against  .wmv file and it takes 3 times longer to convert it (considering the size of the file its kinda relevant)

And it seems like the Movie Edit is not really happy converting mp4 into mp4, it gets crached once in the midlle of the process for unknown reason, and I didn't have enough time for another try.. (converting .mp4 into .wmv went smothely, though, and I think I'll go with that).

(I didn't say why do I need all of this - I do translation, then record it, add audio track into the file and remix it. Thats why I have so many convertations. And it seems that MEP handles .wmv files faster than any other format, but this bug with offset makes it useles )

All right,   thanks again.  Maybe latter I will recognize where is the problem.

Have a good day (or night)
