using sound forge with sony vegas

Hello. I have SF audio studio 12 and someone told me it can be integrated with sony vegas. How I get SF's audio plugins to show up in Vegas to use when I'm editing videos? Can someone please point me to a tutorial on how to sync the two programs? Thank you.

I have Sony Vegas 16 Pro and windows 10.

Welcome to the Sound Forge forum @jaybird8521.

To choose your 'Preferred audio editor' In VP (Vegas Pro), go to "Options> Preferences> Audio" and select the 'Browse' button. Find the Audio Studio-12 <.exe> file in "Program files"> The folder is probably "SOUND FORGE"/

To use the VST effects that came with SF in VP, go to "Options> Preferences> VST Effects" select Browse on one of the 'Alternate VST search folders' and find the folder where the desired <.dll> VST files are. Likely in "Program files> Steinberg" or "VST". Some may be in Program files (x86) as well.

There is no 'Sony Vegas 16 Pro'. I sincerely hope you are not using a cracked or counterfeit version.

It's Vegas Pro 16 and I purchased it. I still call it sony vegas out of habit.
