Using PHP

We want to move from Word Press as it is slow and you never know what will happen. The core comes from WP but most of the content are handled by syndicating PHP-scripts.
Can we do this in Xara and how do we do this?

We host the site on our own servers.

Xara Web Designer is based on jQuery and has no capability of working with PHP and SQL databases as CMS software such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc do.

To use Xara Web Designer you would have to create the website from new.
