Using own image for DVD menu background - How? in MEP MX

siegbrunn wrote on 5/18/2012, 10:55 AM

I'm using MEP MX (11.0.4.4) and cannot find how I can use a JPG from me as the BG for a DVD menu. Before, with V-Deluxe2008 it was easy and clear. But if I have that option on the current "burning" page, I cannot find it. Only the templates at the bottom seem to be available.

Hi

When you click the Edit button to edit a DVD menu on the Burning tab, on the right side you have these options - click the button shown

this will open a small window

where you can make the changes to the background image.

Hallo John!

You probably think I'm a bit dim . I really did try that, about 20 times actually, on several different occasions, and I never had a window open for me. I thought perhaps then it had to do with the offered "Magix photo designer" on the right button and therefore (since I don't have that) wouldn't open.

Now that you said that's the way, I tried it again and it worked immediately. Go know. What's important is that i know now for certain that it has a system just like VDL2008 and that it works!

Thank you!!
