Please read this post and come back with more details about your computer specification and Windows version and whether it is 32 or 64 bit.

Also check that you have access to the folders specified in the programs settings on the following tab

 

NOTE your paths will be different from mine

The files should be on your computer - if they are on a memory stick, media card or in a camera which is connected to the computer then copy the files from these to your computer.
