Using Magix Audio Cleaning lab for video cleaning

I purchased Magix Audio Cleaning lab a few months ago on the premise that it is actually useful for cleaning audio on videos.  On the web site, I saw a short tutorial on how to do this so I purchased the program.  I have had some delays and finally got around to loading and trying out the program but now I see that references to cleaning the audio part of videos has been removed from the Audio Cleaning Lab part of the web site and there is a new cleaning program for videos.

In trying to use the Audio Cleaning Lab, I find that I can do some "cleaning" (between crashes) but when I go to save the results it only gives me a .avi extension option and even then the "ok" button never can become active.

So, is Audio Cleaning lab at all useful for this and if not (as it appears) can I get some sort of trade in on the video cleaning program.  Hopefully it won't crash so much.

bert_holme,

Sorry you've got caught between version releases. I doubt you'd get a trade in but you might as well try through customer support. http://www.magix.com/us/support/customer-service/

If you do decide on a new program I'd suggest going for Move Edit Pro -- a 'proper' editor if you are going to do much with video. You can link your Audio Cleaning Lab to it as the choice for editing an audio object 'in an external editor'.

Regards,

Carl

Well this is not really an answer but a comment.

Everyone at Magix seems to be gone. No reponse to my queries and no one answers the US customer support phone.

I'm not a happy camper right now.
