I'm not sure exactly what gets installed with Acid but in general once you've located the folder where it is installed you can either get the DAW to scan that folder for plug ins or copy the files to the normal directory for plug ins. For instance I copied the essentail FX to my VST folder and other programs pick them up and they can be used in those other programs.

Thanks for the prompt response, Graham. I located the folders but it warns that all the plugins included with Acid Pro 10 Suite are not activated and my Acid Pro 10 Suite license does not work to activate these plugins. These were the ones I managed to find by searching around ==> 9x CoreFX effects, as well as Corvex, Ecox, Filtox, Vandal and VariVerb. All the ones I tried mentioned that I need to activate.

I just realised that I installed the CoreFX with the free CoreFX Volume Former, so I have 2x copies of the CoreFX plugins. If I select the the ones from Magix (instead of Audio Plugin Union) they seem to work but I still didn't come right with the others, i.e. Corvex, Ecox, Filtox, Vandal and VariVerb ==> These still require activation and a serial number that starts with P2.

Bundled plug-ins will often play no sound if you try to use in a non-MAGIX application. Maybe CoreFX is different. This is what I observed with bundled eFX.

However, if you own i.e. Samplitude Pro X Suite, then everything from there will work in other MAGIX applications - including sound forge and Vegas.

(So generally don’t buy ACID or Sound Forge Suite SKU if you own Samp Suite, as most of the content are duplicates you already own and can use)

Plugins that come with Magix software should usually work only with Magix software. If you want to use them in a different application you need to buy them separately.
