Using a USB keyboard

Hi, I have a newbie question:

If I use a USB MIDI keyboard with the Music Maker, will I be able to record each key separately (each key played will have it's own "rectangle") ?

To what "rectangle" are you referring? You're going to need to be far more exact and clear in your questions.

It is apparently possible, when using the on-screen keyboard, to record each key separately, and then to edit them separately (move them up by a tone, etc). The question is, will it also be possible to do with a usb keyboard ?
