Use of 3rd party VST OVox in Music Maker Premimum

Hopefully a simple question with a simple answer, Is it possible to use the 3rd party voice VST software OVox Vocal ReSynthesis in Music Maker Premium and if so, how do you set it up in Music Maker?

Theoretically, yes, assuming this is a standard VST. You simply need to install its .dll file in the same location as you have any other VST .dlls. If MM can use it it should then show in the list of VSTs accessible under the FX tab on any track.

Many thanks for your reply, I did not want to move the dll's for oVox as this might make it unstable or not work, but I did try assigning a path to them within music maker via the program settings with the folders tab and adding a VST plug-in path to the oVox dll's and oVox executable, but no luck so I can only assume it's not usable in Music Maker, which is a pity as I can load it in reaper and use it there as a VST but due to its friendly interface my preferred DAW is music maker. Again thanks for the reply still having fun with music maker.

@Michael-Smith7480

Have you tried simply copying the oVox. dll(s) to the folder where any other MM VSTs are stored?

Sorry for taking so long to reply; but I have looked in windows/program and program (X86) folders for the Magix identified folders where dll's are and have copied the oVox dlls to these locations. But Music Maker still does not recognise oVox (but does recognise WAVE's other products I have installed (such as sound forge, studio and studio mix!) do you have any suggestions as to where I could copy these oVox dll's to? But really I don't think Music Maker plays nice with 3rd party VST's unless magix has developed a bridge for them. Anyway thanks for your help and attention.

Hi,

Put 32 bit VST's in subfolders here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins

and 64 bit VST's here:

C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins

Add the paths to them in Program settings, Folders, VST's.

Thanks to all, but no that still doesn't work. This I am not so bothered about as I can use oVox stand alone or as a plugin with reaper. Again many thanks for the comments and help.
