Upgraded monitor, same PC.. Resolution issue, some help, please

Got a 4k monitor and had to reinstall new version of Music Maker due to updates. and I get a message every time I start up the program:

"The program cannot be displayed correctly. please increase the screen resolution or decrease the display zoom. Ignore or Cancel"

I have to press ignore or the program closes out.

It seems to be running at my previous monitors resolution , it was a weird one, not quite 1080, maybe 900 x 600 or something.

Anyways, this looks kind of funky and outdated . I would really like to see it in 4k and use the screen space it gives.

I am looking for settings to change it anywhere but to no avail....

any help ?

Games and other programs I have, updated to the 4k resolution perfectly.

@playoftheyear Maybe it helps if you reset the program settings under the File > Settings menu.

Hi

Try enabling the option High Scaling options shown below in the programs shortcut - it should be in the location shown in the image below.

Leave the controlling option set to Application initially, try the other options if it does not work.
