Hi @GoneToMaui, one perpetual license can activate Sound Forge 16 on two (2) separate PCs simultaneously, for instance your desktop and laptop PCs.
The Sound Forge '365' subscription version can only be activated on on (1) device at a time.

Ok, but is that a yes? I can buy 18 and use it to load a version on my desktop that has none and my laptop that has 16? I don't make any subscription payments so I'm guessing I have a perpetual license? Does the desktop need to have 16 installed too or will the upgrade load everything?

@GoneToMaui An upgrade is always a full version which is price reduced. You don't need to install SF16 first.

You have the perpetual license of SF-16 which can be activated of both your PCs without upgrading. If you do upgrade to SFAS-17 or SFP-18, it is not necessary to have SF-16 installed.. or uninstalled either if it is already there. Multiple versions of SF can coexist of the same PC without issues. For instance, I have SF 10 thru 18 installed on my laptop.
