will i still have all my features and instruments and mastering effects like ozone elements 8 and everything i purchaced from magix on my program if i upgrade my magix 2017 and magix 2020 to magix 2021 are should i purchase seperate
Yes you should in most cases. However if you do upgrade keep your existing installation rather than replacing it. This is an option when 2021 is installed. If you're seeing an upgrade message within Music Maker 2020 this only installs the free edition. I had installed the Music Maker 2021 free edition previously and then added all the stuff I had in MM2020 plus the vst bridge.I believe Ozone Elements would need the bridge to work.
I think the best option is just to install the free version on MM2021 and see how you get on. You can decide on whether it's work buying the Premium edition later on.
. . . . will i still have all my features and instruments and mastering effects like ozone elements 8 and everything i purchaced from magix on my program if i upgrade my magix 2017 and magix 2020 to magix 2021 are should i purchase seperate . . . .
Yes and No - for full functionality the Music Maker 2021 upgrade has to be purchased, it is in effect a brand new version being the first 64 bit version - all previous versions were 32 bit.
You will receive a new serial number to activate it - the program will then have full functionality after downloading and installing the new Extra Content.
To continue using the old existing 32 bit Instruments you need the Premium upgrade, this includes the VST features that allow the old instruments to be used.
If you use the MMM 2020 or earlier serial numbers to activate MMM 2021 - you will not be able to use the 32 bit Instruments and other features will be restricted.
