Upgrade Promotion

Kami_1 wrote on 7/14/2017, 2:03 PM

Regarding the current promotion for Movie Edit Pro, is this the version released last Fall, or is this a new version?

With the one year updates, does it not matter if a new version is released this Fall?  That is, if I purchase now (with the promotion), would I be getting updates through July 2017?

Also, when did Magix take over Sony Vega(s?) products? I'm amazed.

Hi Kami

There are no longer 'new versions' each year, the program is now in a 'continuous update' cycle with new features added as and when they are released in an update so you always have the latest version.

See this section of the purchase info.

So it makes sense to upgrade rather than re-install. Thanks!

Hi Kami,

In your other post, I see the offer to upgrade includes 7 additional programs. What are these?

Looks like a good deal to me. I think that you will like the new features, and there are many.

I didn't see that. The premium version includes Vasco da Gama 9 Essential and New Blue Titler Pro Express.

Plus you will get NB Essentials 3 and 4 and HitFilm Stylized Pack. That makes 5. Maybe they are counting Mercalli stabilizer V2, which would make 6. So, at least one is missing from the list.

Essentials 3 seems to have fixes for still photos, e.g., blemish/wrinkle remover. I don't see a 4, but the Stabilizer is included:

The initial link doesn't automatically take me anywhere, and clicking on the link on the page doesn't seem to be functional. I tried it at different times.

Hi Kami

On clicking the link, which works OK here, your browser should open a new page saying you are leaving the community and a countdown at the end of which it should load the new page linked to, the actual item referred to is up the page a little under Direct purchase advantages

If it still does not work for you try this link

It was the link on the "new" page which wasn't working for me, yesterday. It seems okay now. Thanks.
