Hi can anyone help I have Samplitude music studio 2021 and I keep getting a pop up to upgrade to Pro version which I dont need.
I press return to program but every time I try to load a new instrument it pops up again and I cant do anything else. How do I turn it of. Thanks in advance.
@tony-e9842 How many instruments are loaded in your project? Samplitude Music Studio has a limit. If you reach this limit you need to upgrade to Samplitude Pro X.
Maybe it helps if you freeze the tracks that are already finished.
Not sure what you mean by freeze tracks do you mean lock them.
@tony-e9842 No, you can freeze a track by pressing ALT+SHIFT+F and unfreeze it with ALT+SHIFT+U.
This renders the complete track with all its MIDI, automation and effects into an audio file. This is usually very helpful in lowering CPU load and you can then remove the VST instruments from the slots of the tracks without removing the sound.
The disadvantage is that you cannot unfreeze the track easily without the removed instrument.
But you should be able to add new instruments.
I have just checked and reduced down to 8 tracks, how many tracks do I have.
Do midi and live instruments make a difference.
@tony-e9842 Yes, MIDI instruments (VSTs) are the important ones. I believe in Music Studio you can only have 16 VST-Instruments per project. But I'm not sure.
Thanks for all the help the problem was too many tracks/inst it was MT DRUMS it loaded 16 extra tracks further down the page which I had not seen. The max is 16 so I was over the max.
