So, I keep getting these e-mails, where it says FREE.
When i look at the price, I still seem to be paying $25 more then the other Suite version.
Doesn't seem free to me... or am i missing something here?

The base program Movie Studio is lacking the 600 additional effects, titles, templates & transitions. Travel Maps, Automatic Shot Match, NewBlue Stylizers 5, and NewBlue Essentials 5 Ultimate as well as multicam editing for 4 cameras that the Suite version has and you won't know the upgrade price until you press the upgrade Icon and then log into your account. You are still not committed to buy the program at that point and can log back out.
I am not aware of the Mercalli V6 plug-ins as being part of the current offer though. Best you check that first.

Hi, Yes, I am talking about the Suite edition. for $$44.99 upgrade.. but in the e-mail it clearly states FREE Marcalli for the Suite.. but there is is fee for it so it makes no sense to me.

Normally any offers currently on offer are on the website and each offer normally lasts to the end of that month.
I do not see that offer currently. You could take up your inquiry with Magix at sales@magix.net as no-one here has any affiliation with the Magix staff and have no inside knowledge of current deals other than those published.

Still, it's not a bad deal. If you're into stabilising video, Mercalli does a great job; the full version costs a bomb, and even the plugin upgrade cost more than this MMS 2023+Mercalli offer.

They appear to have changed their email for sales inquiries to infoservice@magix.net which was for technical inquiries previously and technical questions are now apparently only handled via the form on this website.

I see what you mean about paying extra but I think that offer is not for a time limited version of which most of the free offered versions of plugins recently have had one or two year limited licences.

On the US Magix.com site, the new sale price for the Suite is 59.99$, upgrade is 44.99$ and there is no mention of Mercalli being included. If you could get the Upgrade price, that would be excellent, but even at 65$ it's a good deal.
Any indication of a limited duration license, like 2 years?

Could be why I initially didn't see the offer John. Sometimes I have only found out whether something is limited when I get the email back with the codes to activate the plugin on offer.

I think it's worse than that as it doesn't cover the use of supplied 'giveaway' programs which could demand even more from a system such as the 'ProDad Hide' program. Even The 'NB Titler Pro' could be a strain on some systems.

I have a license from 3 years ago.
But if that is new price then I just get it as new..

Do not email. Go to Support at the top of this forum and select Support, Movie Studio, scroll to the bottom and select CONTACT SUPPORT. You should be able to figure out the rest.
But then the ad is misleading.. since it says Upgrade.
Please post a screen shot of the advert. Use the upload button at the top of the message to post your image.
