Music Maker is free. You pay for an Edition to get unlock features and presets, some instruments and get credits for Soundpools, depending on which Edition you buy. See the comparison table. You activate an Edition in the program, which again, is free.
I expect that you are eligible for the upgrade pricing. Select it to see when you get to checkout. Do you want Plus or Premium? Premium is the most cost effective.
Before purchasing anything, install MMM2021 (free version) to make sure that it works on your computer.
