Updated Windows 10 and SF PRO 14 Context Menu no longer working

Have been using SF Pro Context Menu to convert files, from wav to mp3 when needed, using Windows 10 An update to Windows 10 2004, and the Context Menu feature is no longer there, no longer working, not visible when right clicking on the audio file in its folder. Is there something I need to do to activate the feature? Do I need to do a re-install of SF Pro 14? For the most part I see no other issue with the program. I have not yet removed previous version of SF, do I need to do that, could that be the cause the issue now?

You've considered these options. Have you tried either one of them?

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge community @Ron-Pelletier. .
You should not need to uninstall older versions. Try resetting SF back to the default settings ('File' menu) which also clears the cache. If that does not work, try an uninstall/reinstall. I often recommend using a third-party uninstaller (such as Revo Uninstall) which can clean corrupt data files that are left behind by the default uninstall process and could be the cause initially. If you re-install, download the latest Pro 14 build. (currently 111)

There is also a neat context menu editor utility from NirSoft you may wish to look at. NirSoft has many free utilities I find useful for customizing a PC.

I did un-install older version of SF, then un-installed and re-installed SF Pro 14. The Windows Context Menu is back. There is the check-box during the install process to activate the the feature while the program is being installed. Apparently it is the only opportunity to activate the feature, and can not be re-done inside the program itself.

That's interesting. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the info @Ron-Pelletier. I was not aware of that installation option. There may be a setting in the SF's (hidden) internal settings menu though, which I will investigate.
