Update to Sound Forge Pro 15

I received an email that said I was entitled to a free upgrade from Sound forge 14 Pro 365 to 15 so I downloaded it and installed. The email said to use my existing serial number but it is not accepted.

After looking at the "My products" area in the website, it appears that I have Pro 365 running under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on another partition on my system and I never use that anymore since I upgraded to Windows 10. It seems that I am running Sound Forge Pro (no 365) there. So, since I actually do have 365 plus Sound Forge Pro, can you help me to make this update to 15.0 work under Windows 10, please?

 Additionally, I would like to de-activate Sound Forge completely under Windows 7, since I never use that installation. When I transitioned to Windows 10, I left my full Windows 7 installation intact in case anything went wrong with Windows 10. (Ya think???)

@peter-c4044

These are user to user forums so there are no Magix staff here and I suspect no-one knows the answer to be able to help you, sorry!

The only thing I can suggest is that you email infoservice@magix.net, giving full details of what you want to be able to do, and ask for their assistance.

Thanks. I was able to do it by de-activating the old installation under Win 7 and re-activating under Win 10.

Sound Forge 365 can only be activated on one (1) PC at a time. The non-subscription (Magix) versions can activated on two PCs simultaneously.

Got it, thanks. I realized, if I just de-activate the "365" version I had running under Win 7 (that is no longer used) I can re-activate under Win 10. I am in good shape now. Thanks.
