"Update Online" missing from Help menu (MEP 2017 +)

Recycler wrote on 11/16/2016, 8:46 AM

I note that the "Update Online" option, permanently present in MEP 2016 +'s Help menu, is not currently visible in the Help menu of my MEP 2017 +.

Has this been changed so that the option only appears when there actually is an update available?

Hi

This has been fixed in the latest update 16.0.1.37.

Ensure you have an Internet connection then try restarting MEP - it should automatically go online and detect the new update.

Note I had to do this several times before MEP went online and got the update.

Thanks John; I suspected something like that would be the case.  I'm still stuck on an earlier version, and despite having restarted the program several times, no joy yet on the update - no worries, I'll keep trying!

Hi Mike

You may need to reinstall the program to an unpatched state, or go to a Restore Point date prior to the patch that you last installed (.25) and then apply the last .37 update.

Thanks SS - a complete un-install/re-install sorted it.
