I had SF9 Pro installed, and recently got the SFAS 10 (build 295) upgrade on my dual-core older desktop system. I uninstalled first, since in between SF9 and now I upgraded to Windows 10, and SF9 was showing signs of not liking W10.

I should have waited. SFAS10 now starts up alternately crashing and hanging on the splash screen after a bunch of messages show. The Sony help forums seem to be gone.

Anyone have any ideas? I have loved SF since the Sonic Foundry days, but I am having 2nd thoughts.
