Update

I keep getting notices that there is an update to Soundforge 13 but when I download it, it turns out to be version 14. Is this free? Is this the update? I thought I had to pay for 14. Also, when I tried to install, it tells me I already have too many installations? Do I have to uninstall 13 first? This whole thing is simply confusing.

Maybe the message is an updated notification or a translation mistake ??
UpDates have always been a new build of the same version with bug fixes, ect.
UpGrades are purchasing a new version (SF Pro 14 for instance) at a discounted price.

Contact the Magix' Sales Team for a definitive answer.

But what I get is a message that there is an "Update" but when I download it, it is Soundforge 14 for sure!

How long ago did was it you purchased Pro 13? You must have gotten the one year "Update Service" with Pro 13. They apparently give you an upgrade free, if it is published within one year of the original purchase.

No they just said get your update, no new serial number but when I download it says it's version 14.

I don't remember when but I'm sure they mean to just update 13. Can't figure out why the update says it's 14 and when I try to install it says I already have an installation and can't do this one.

Contact Magix Customer Service Sales Team and ask for a explanation, Please update us

What is the name/extension of the downloaded the installer file? ?
Does SF-13 state an update is available. "Help> Check for updates"

13 said an update is available but when I downloaded it, it said it was 14. In the meantime, I bought ver. 14 and have had problems with it that I have described elsewhere on this forum.
