Up grade from Movie Edit Pro 16 pro plus to pro MX

Just installed Magix Movie Edit Pro MX ver 11.0.3.0.   The program will not properly play any MP4 file on the video monitor of the edit screen.

When I attempted to place the first MP4 file into the edit screen, the program informed me that it needed to obtain a license for MP4, which the system did quickly and then informed me the license was installed successfully.   However from that point on, every single Mp4 video I try to run will jump.  That is to say the video playback (in the editing monitor, when I hit the spacebar key) will run, then stop, then run a few seconds, then stop a few seconds, etc.

Hi

More information is required ie your computer specification.

Also are the mp4's High Definition or standard definition video?

Search for 'Jerky playback'  using the search box on the right - you will find this topic has been covered many times before.

John
