unwanted Magix adds on my computer desktop

Every time I boot up my computer I get a Magix add on my desk top trying to sell me an upgrade. How can I make this stop?

Please don't quadruple post. Once is enough.

Upgrading would probably stop it, but hopefully someone will be along to advise you how to turn it off so you don't need to upgrade 😁
