Uninstall "Pro 17" after installing "Pro 18"

I am wondering if after I've installed Vegas Pro 18, will anything be messed up by uninstalling Vegas Pro 17? Are there files that are used by both programs that may be deleted when uninstalling 17? They each have their own parent folders under Loval Disk/Program Files/VEGAS.
