Unable to open Movie Studio 2023

I have downloaded and paid for Magix Movie Studio 2023 Platinum as my MS16.0 Platinum was freezing and wouldn't complete an update. When launching the program I receive and error message "The procedure entry point Create DXGIFactory 2 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll." I am running Windows 7 Pro. Can anyone offer a solution?

Yes, the specs for MMS2023 require Windows 10 or 11.

With your old VMS16 the later builds required Win10 although some users were still able install it and have it working on Win7. But some features would not perform correctly.

Thanks ericlnz. I suspected that might be the case. I've avoided upgrading the operating system, mainly due to the disastrous Windows 8, however I believe 10 & 11 are pretty stable platforms. Looks like it might be time to upgrade. Thanks for the quick response.
