When Ever I try to open a project or audio file, I get a message saying it can not be opened. The markers load and the track List loads but no graphics.
Then I get the following when I close the above
There are no graphics.
Using Cleaning Lab 17, Vista 64 bit Home Premium,

I didn't notice the FX bit of the file name - I suspect an audio effect was applied to the file 'Tape 2 CD 2' at some time, has been removed and the FX file deleted but the project then either did not save correctly or save was canceled and the project closed.
You could try importing th audio file into a new project apply and apply an audio FX to it, save the project and copy the FX file to the location shown in the error message, making sure it has the same name as the original
