Unable to import itunes library

ian-barnett wrote on 6/2/2018, 11:13 AM

If I try and use this option, I get a message telling me that iTunes is not installed when it is. The help screens tell me to update the iTunes location in the advanced folder which I understand is in the 'Import iTunes Library' screen that I can't get into because iTunes isn't installed! Can anyone advise how to get out of this infinite loop! Thanks

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there, especially about your computer, operating system version and version of MP3 Maker Deluxe.

My suspicion of why this may not be working: as a matter of policy, Apple does not want you to be able to copy iTunes files! I wonder whether your version of MP3 Maker cannot "see" the version of iTunes and iTunes files you have, because of the relative ages of the two apps?
