Purchased Sound Forge on line directly from Magix. Attempted to register by entering serial number. Dialog indicated legit sn but returns Error -14. Checked sn against email purchase confirmation multiple times. Purchase was in March 2021. I have order number. Just now installing. How do I register/activate?
Which version of SF? Read the 'Sticky' at the head for the main Sound Forge forum page.
Confirm you are using the serial number matching the program. for instance, If you purchased Sound Forge Audio Studio, the serial code will not work for Sound Forge Pro or visa-versa. Check the serial number for typos as well and use the same email address that you used when it was purchased.

Thanks for the info - and welcome. Removed all apps and re-downloaded. Authorized without a hitch. Apparently authorization process expected a current version to be installed.
