Unable to access my version of Studio Platinum 16 after a .dll crash

My Studio Platinum 16 crashed while open and I followed some YouTube tutorials on how to fix it and they did not work. So I uninstalled 16 thinking I had the ability with my purchase history to start it back up. I bought full version of 12 and upgraded to 16. 12 works but since all my files were made with 16, cannot access them with 12. The code I have in history for 16 isn't working (seems it's a trial code?) and I'm fairly positive I paid for the upgrade after the trial ran out. Now, I also purchased 22 recently but since it can't open my old .vf files, I'm not interested in using it until it can. Any chance I can get my Movie Studio Platinum 16 back in operation? Thanks in advance.

@Kevin-Dargis Isn't the installer for version 16 listed in your user account?

If not, you probably installed version 16 with another user account or got this version via the update service which is no longer valid. Since Vegas Movie Studio stopped development you then would need to get the upgrade to the current Vegas Pro version to access your files. You can ask support at infoservice@magix.net to refund your Movie Studio version 22. Maybe they can also find your version 16 if you give them personal information.
