Two questions on licencing?

Hello.

Hi, I recently got the free version of Music Maker, looking for a relatively easy to use program to make weird music with... Stuff like dark ambient, dungeon synth, throwback 70's/80's horror movie-sounding stuff...

So the first question I have is that it feels like soundpools are what require the licensing cost... Do instruments as well? Say if I bought the Cinematic Soundscape instrument, or just used the Revolta 2 that comes with the free version to compose my own synth tones... Do I need a licensing fee for that? I ask 'cause I'm not really looking to try and make a mint on my music, but I would love to do limited run cassette releases of like 50-100 copies someday in the future.

Also; can stuff be uploaded on Bandcamp? I'm not a fan of soundcloud. My music would be free for the most part.

No, you don't need a licence for that. But you must not use the preset demo melodies that came with the instruments.

That is okay if you only use the instruments and no soundpools.
