Two installed Music Makers

Hi Magix

We have Movie Studio Platinum 14.0 suite and MAGIX Video Pro X installed on this PC

and therefore have two installed Music Maker
C:\Program Files (x86)\MAGIX\Music Maker\2017
C:\Program Files (x86)\MAGIX\Music Maker\25

we wonder if it is necessary to have both installed, and if not witch one to keep ?

The newest mm version is 25

Use the Edition Activation within MM25 (lower one, pinkish graphic) and enter the serial number for your 2017 edition. It should activate all content avail in 2017 into MM25. I am doing this for all my previous MM versions. As I understand it, this is the new way to consolidate all your previous copies of MM into one. There are reports of some that soundpools and certain other things are not showing up, but could very well be outdated formats causing such things. I myself am happy with the consolidation of my 3 versions so far. I have to load the soundpools myself tho I think, not sure. In the middle of the process here.

Actually, the soundpools are all there and just had to make sure in options that the proper location was being pointed to at C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools
