Hi

Depending on your TV you can lose up to 10% of the image on all 4 sides off screen.

Are the parts that are missing very close to the edge of the screen as seen in MEP?

To help you there is a grid available in the program to show you the safe areas for titles etc 

From the menu select Effects, Effects setting movies on the TV cropping tab check the box highlighted in this image

This because you ave turned the TV on before you turned on your Bluray player. The tv automatically turns on 2200 pix by 1400.

 Turn on your bluray player first Your T.V will then retune to 1050/50i

 hence all your picture

I have never come across this one before - what make and model of TV and BD player are you referring to?
