I can't figure what I'm doing wrong, Using Movie Edit Pro Plus. Video Object is on Track 2. Text object "( )" that I want to move with an object in Video is on Track 3. I've aligned the "( )" where I want it to start. I've clicked Attach to picture position in video from the text object in Track 3. I've defined a high contrast area on prompting. Calculation occurs as the defined area moves with its area -- I *Can See Where the Borders Perfectly Follow* around where they were drawn -- the Text object is not visible during the calculation. After this step, when I play the video, the text object appears and holds to its original fixed position -- it does not move or sync as the calculation area did. I've also added a Project Marker at beginning and end of the movement sequence. I've also displayed "track curves" on Track 3. Hasn't helped: Both green and white "curves" are flat -- green at top, white at middle. QUESTION: What should I do to have "( )" sync its movement with a desired object? It's worth noting the "stationary" object "moves" only as a result of the camera panning. The "( )" does not move after calculation occurs from the previous step.

I'm using MEP 17+, version 10.0.12.2. The program says no updates are available for download. I recently had to restore the program from scratch, and had to search the web for the update to the original program as the update wasn't availble via automation. I hope its right. Size of patch 156,071KB but I suppose that could vary slightly depending upon the size of disk sectors I have.
Thanks regarding the use of green and white "curve" lines.
I opened the keyframe line. So no evidence of keys being inserted. Tried again with that line open. Nothing showed up. The orange vertical line, on the tracks and the keyframe did not move during calculation. Calculation of object selection "tracking" took about 12-15 seconds for a 6 second section of text.
Screen shots now attached Nov 20.
Hope that helps. More details posted below at 2015-11-20 04:49 PM
