Trial version

I kept getting bugged to upgrade to version 19. But seems to only be a trial version with 30 days. I like your product but I'm not a professional designer and have no need for Pro version. I get the impression you not surporting this version properly anymore? I don't want to pay anymore money, a little disappointed really.

@Peter-Bradney

These are user to user forums so not a contact for any Magix staff, sorry.

If you have now installed version 19 of PGD but not actually paid for the upgrade then yes, you will now be running the trial version. The choice was yours whether or not to install the new version. Has the new version removed the old one or can you simply uninstall version 19 and continue to use version 18?

If you no longer have version 18 you should be able to download it from your Magix account at https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ . Log in, go to My products and find the listing for PFD 18, download the installer (and make a note of the serial key), uninstall the trial of version 19 and then reinstall version 18. And ignore any suggestion of upgrading!

I paid the £24 deal, did that just give me access to future upgrades for version 18 and a trial of 19. As I still have version 18

@Peter-Bradney

Thank you for the additional information.

Paying the upgrade price, you should have received a confirmation email which would have included the serial key for the new version. Did you receive that email and read it thoroughly? Serial keys are often shown towards the end of them. If not received, check your Spam/Junk folder; emails from Magix are sometimes seen by email software as spam.

If the email is definitely NOT on your system you will need to email infoservice@magix.net and ask that they resend your confirmation email.

Hi,

Check your account. Magix will likely have just extended your Update Service period by 1 year.

You have to download and install the latest version and activate it with your existing code.

The previous version will not be replaced, so look for the icon for Xara 19, otherwise you'll be opening version 18.
