@Susann-Brody

Hi

Trial versions have limited functionality, eg exporting your project may be limited to 3 mins in length.

The extras - features, effects, templates etc are only available in the full version of the program.

@john EB

Oh, okay. I'm not exporting at all. Just trying to see if I like transitions, text and having it do the slideshow for me before I purchase it. So the trial is sort of limiting for what I wanted to see..but thank you for letting me know.

@johnebaker thank you so much for that info!

So do I pay and add the serial number and it will give me the full version OR do I delete it and then just purchase the full version?

There's lots to like about it and I do have other programs that do slideshows but it's fun to try something new that may be easier for me.

@Susann-Brody

Hi

When you have purchased and received the serial number , enter this into the trial version to unlock the extra content which can the be downloaded under - Help, Free download.

As you gain more experience with the program you will find that you can do a lot more in the way of customising your slideshows/movies by working in Timeline mode where you have full control over effects, timing etc.

@johnebaker

Hi and thank you for letting me know how to proceed.
Have any things you like to share for a new person in this program to learn or something that isn't obvious?
In the past, I've let the program make the slideshow and let fiddled around with it to tweak it.

@Susann-Brody

Hi

For more advanced editing see the tutorials listed here, though they are for Movie Edit Pro the principles are the same for working in timeline mode, and there are a lot of common effects, transitions, Titles etc.

For more specific 'how to's', ask in the forum and we can point you in right direction or hopefully give you a solution.

You can also use the search feature of the forum to search for topics which are related to what you want, most of them will probably be for Movie Edit Pro or Video Pro X, however the principles may help you.
