Trial Periods and Account Management

I, Kelly Eldridge, signed up for a 7 day free trial of "MAGIX Video Deluxe 2021 Plus - Windows Store Edition" on 11/14/2021. I did not receive a confirmation email but I did take a screen shot of the trial confirmation for my records. This is not the correct video editing software for me and I want to cancel my trial effective immediately, 11/15/2021. I have searched your website for account cancellation options and for customer service phone numbers and am concerned that neither options are easily available to locate. I do not authorize any future charges to my credit card and request that my billing information be deleted from your system today. Please respond to confirm my request of trial cancellation and to ensure that no future charges will be applied to my account.

@Kelly-Eldridge

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums, so not a contact for any Magix staff, sorry. No-one here can ensure no future charges will be applied to [your] account.

However, I'm not sure whether the Windows Store Edition Free Trial is, in any way, different to what you would have got if you had installed the Free Trial direct from Magix, but there should be no question of you being charged anything since it is "Free".

Also, since you obtained the program from the Windows Store, Magix will have no record of your purchase and so will not make any charge. If you do receive notification of a charge this will have come from the Windows Store and it is to the Windows Store that you will need to make any claim for a refund.
