travel maps how to create a .mxgeo file

I have Magix Movie Studio 2025 Platinum , and had created a detailed travel map (TM). I wanted to go back to make some corrections. When I clicked "Load existing project", it required an .mxgeo file. Although I had saved my TM, all I could find were .png files, or the exported mp4 files. I created a new project to see how to save a project as an .mxgeo file (for future use), and could not figure out how to do it. I had checked the box for "edit video in Magix..." That appears to only allow you to edit the exported video in Magix, just like any other mp4 video-it did not allow me to re-enter TM to make changes to the original map itself.

Does anyone know how to create a truly editable TM file? Thanks. (I am using Win 10)

@Jim_H,

Hi,

Simple, click on the diskette icon, third from the left of the menu.

Or, when you click on the X button at the upper right to quit the program. It asks you if you want to save the project.

Both will propose a path and filename.mxgeo.

Thanks. It works. I can't believe how easy it is. Too bad the documentation isn't so clear.
