How do I get the video to be produced without a background? For example if I wanted to customize a title but didn't want the background, just the title.

What do you mean by without a background? What would the lettering show against? Do you mean a white background, coloured, or black?
Either way, insert a stills jpeg of the correct dimensions for your project, then stretch it to the desired length and add your title to that.

Sorry for the delayed response. Lots of juggling. I use the videos I make for my videocasting! So, I'd like to customize one of the titles - (Simple things is one example) and put that on the box under my name when I video cast. Unfortunately, when I make the movie It will always come up with a background. I won't be able to use the customized title because then there's a black background. So what I'm looking for is to have the animated title only - without a background.

What software are you using for the videocasting which I assume is live streamed rather than pre-recorded.

OBS, and I presume OBS Streamlabs - it appears to be identical to OBS - has a Filter function for adding Alpha to an image.
However I assume that you want an animated Title eg it rotates or the text changes with time while you are livestreaming - is the correct and can you give us an idea what the 'animation' of the title is.

Looking at the OBS Studio forum site it says to use transparent png files but no info on how to apply.
StreamLabs is not possible to visit forums without having an account.
I suggest this is a problem for their forums as you need to know those program requirements and 'how to's'.

How to do this is here. - the question is how to make it work in OBS with a video file - if that is what is required.
MEP cannot export video with an Alpha channel.

The simple things title was one of the ones that I was interested in. However, if MEP can't export with an Alpha CHannel (I had no idea that made a transparent) than does Magix make a program that does? I would like to stick with Magix because I have used their programs for a long time. I have used PNG files in OBS but the simple things title was animated - and pretty cool too.

It is a bit of along shot however if OBS can accept a video mask then there may be a way of doing this in MEP.
