I'm not absolutely sure about this but I think, if you give your new host that authorization number, they should initiate and carry out the transfer. I don't think there is anything for you to do, it is down to your new host. Once the transfer is complete, again the new host should register this change and so the new server address should be propagated by them.

Thank you, Jeff. Both my new provider and Magix are telling me I have to talk to the other provider. It seems the transfer is "in process," so I think it might be happening. I don't know what I did or even if I did it. I gave them both the authorization code. That seemed to help.
