Transfer and Saving of a group of movies to a PC/Hard Drive/Flash drive?

Hi. I have recently purchased Magix Pro 17 Edit Plus.

I have edited and grouped a bunch of movies and have saved one file to the PC as a MPEG file.

When I go to transfer that file to a flash/hard drive it does not permit me - saying too big inspite of their being plenty of space in the drives.

Also when I use the option of save to device it will only save in the AVI format with its lowest resolution.

Any ideas how I can save, transfer and store the edited project in its max resolution or close to it?

If the flash/hard drive is formatted to FAT32, the file size limit is 4 GB. If so, you have to format them to NTFS. Right-click on it in Explorer and then Format. But, All the content will be erased, so take a backup first !

Hi

Also when I use the option of save to device it will only save in the AVI format with its lowest resolution.

This should not be the case. In the window and dropdown that opens, if you "select your device" as "user defined > video", it will give you the option of multiple formats / resolutions that once customised through the advanced settings, can be saved as new "devices" (profiles).

Have you updated this old version of MEP with its latest patch via Help > Online update?

Hi

Do not use the Device option - use File, Export movie and select your file type and adjust the settings as required.
