Tracks keep cutting out

I use Acid pro to do mixes on, and the new version 11 just doesn't seem up to the job. Pretty much every mix transition between tracks that i do, the end of the track i am transitioning from disappears. When you zoom in there is NO waveform. To get round this you have to save the project, close the program and reopen. The end of the track then re-appears so i can hear the transition properly. Doing this every 2nd tune is very time consuming, and very annoying!!

All music i am using is purchased and downloaded legally, the software is licensed, has anyone else seen this before?

@Paul-Culley Are you using compressed audio files? Maybe it will work better if you convert them to PCM WAV files first.

@Paul-Culley Okay, that may be a cause. Sound Forge also has problems to display waveforms correctly for some compressed audio formats.

Odd how the come straight back when you close and open the program. I will convert a few and try it. Thanks.
