Track EQ, compressor, and noise gate

I upgraded from SF10 (build 491)/Win7 to SF13 (64 bit build 131)/Win10 and recently decided to reinstall SF10 (build 507) to get access to a few features that I miss from SF10. The track EQ, track compressor and track noise gate plug-ins were missing though--a couple of my preset plug-in chains use the track EQ--so I managed to register the dll from my Win7 installation. So now SF10 has access to the track EQ, but it doesn't show up in SF13. Does anyone know why? I'm wondering if it's a 32 bit/64 bit thing.

The legacy 'Track' series plug-ins are Direct X (DX), They 'should' be available under the Direct X category in your 'Fx Favorites> Organize' and/or the Plug-in chainer .

That being said, some DX plug-ins are not available in 64 bit hosts... for instance the iZotope DX mastering suites that were included with Pro 9 and 10. In that scenario, the 32 bit version of Pro 13 can be installed and coexists with Pro 13 (64) w/o issue. The DX Track plug-ins however are available on my 64 bit version of Pro 13.

Thanks @rraud. My installation of SF Pro 13 64 bit must just be missing the 'Track' series plug-ins, and I'm not sure how get them. But let me move on to a bigger issue regarding coexisting installations of SF10 and SF13 which may make the issue moot.

I had hand copied 20 of my presets to SF Pro 13 from an old laptop containing SF Pro 10, and when I installed SF Pro 10 on my current machine (the one with SF Pro 13) I noticed that some, but not all, of those presets automatically appeared in the new SF Pro 10 installation. Furthermore, using 10's preset manager, I imported another of my presets and found that it showed up in SF Pro 13. So it appears there is some degree of overlap in how 10 and 13 store presets, but it's not complete. Is that your experience?

Man, if that's the case, then I'm not sure this new installation of 10 is going to work for me. In one instance, a preset imported by preset manager into SF10 worked fine in SF10 until it was run in SF13, at which point it either disappeared or was broken in SF10. I'm inclined to just keep my old decrepit laptop for those few must-have SF10 features and avoid the preset chaos that seems to be looming in my future.

I guess the Track plug-ins are no longer included with SF in favor of the newer Magix Core FX and I surmise the Track plugs are available because Pro 10 is also installed on my PC. Most if not all of the individual FX presets are available and run normally on both Pro 10 and 13 (I have not checked Pro 12, but suspect the same). The plug-in chains however are not cross-app available.. nor do they run when imported (error message) I can understand this behavior since the Pro 10 and 13 program paths are radically different.
FWIW, I can live without the Track plug-ins, but I lked the Track EQ. Btw, is Wave Hammer still available on your PC? It is on mine but it may be shared from Pro 10. Wave Hammer II is a new Core plug-in, it limits OK but does not sound anywhere's near as good if used for an effect. The UI sucks too IMO

Both Wave Hammer and Wave Hammer 2.0 got installed with SF13 (i.e. was there before I installed SF10), and SF10 only has the former. I haven't checked out WH 2.0 much, I just opened it to see what it looked like and listened for about 15 seconds just to see if there was a huge character difference. I never thought to try Wave Hammer as an effect though.

Like the old school UA 1176N, a killer 'smack' sound on drum tracks.
